Since a LOT of my vids are angsty, I wanted to try to have a less angsty vid for Frodo and Bilbo. I heard this song in the car with Ben and the lyric “…there and back again” was just PERFECT. I think this vid is a bit closer to what I was wanting even though the song is mellow.

This is by far one of my favorite vids of mine. I can’t explain why, but even now when I watch it I get caught up in the excitement of Helm’s Deep. I spent two weeks listening to the song non-stop until I had this vid planned out in my head. You wouldn’t think it would take long, since it’s only the Battle for Helm’s Deep, but I really put a lot into this one.

Ben and I kind of knocked around the idea of doing a One Ring vid to this, but once I sat down to do it, this vid made itself. This was one of the easiest vids I’ve ever put together, especially the first part including the first verse. It sounded just like it was referring to Gandalf, and it worked perfectly.

I’ve said it before and I’ll gladly say it again, I love Boromir. This was another vid that was planned after hearing the song in the car. By the time I got to my destination, I had already planned every clip and the whole vid took only an hour or so to make (since I keep my source material on my poor hard drive).
